 Another 2 Bodies Found

HPD investigating 2 bodies found just miles apart in Houston's southeast side:

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston police are investigating two scenes in the city's southeast side after reports of a body found at each location.

Both scenes are still developing Tuesday evening.

At about 6:59 p.m., HPD officers were called out to 5900 S. MacGregor Way, after reports of a person found in Brays Bayou.

Officers said someone along the trail flagged down a nearby officer after spotting the body. The body, whose identity has not been revealed, is that of a man.

Police said the man's body did not have any obvious signs of trauma.

Then, less than 10 miles away, police received a call at 7:25 p.m. of another body found at 8500 Findlay Street near Sims Bayou.

People were in a home's backyard when they spotted the body, which appeared to be far into its decomposition stage.

While both scenes are close to one another, it's unclear if they're related.

An investigation remains into both cases.

A Couple More Found Dead In Houston Area.

Houston area family is hoping for answers after their loved one, 29-year-old Stephanie Carrizal, was located dead in Sheldon Reservoir in east Harris County.

Investigators are searching for a killer after a woman’s body was found in the Sheldon Reservoir in east Harris County Saturday morning.

The investigation was taking place as that woman’s family continued to plea for answers.

“She was loved, she was loved so much,” said Liza Guzman, who is 29-year-old Stephanie Carrizal’s sister. “All I just think about is the good times, and the good memories that we had.”

Memories of the mother of three, described as a free spirit who loved to dance, are now overshadowed by her unexpected death.

“It was Saturday and they told me they needed to talk to me. I kind of felt it,” said Stephanie’s mother, Christine Carrizal.

Harris County Sheriff’s Office investigators delivered earth-shattering news to the family Sunday about their loved one’s body being found by a fisherman near a wooded area in the reservoir.

“It just hurt a lot, it hurt a lot,” Guzman said.

Officials are working to determine whether a stolen SUV pulled from the reservoir Saturday has anything to do with Carrizal being found in the same body of water just a few miles away.

(According to Medical Examiner, Stephanie was strangled)

The Harris County Medical Examiners' office has identified the woman whose body was found stuffed in a suitcase by a couple out walking their dog in north Harris County earlier this week. According to Houston news station KHOU 11, the woman found was 39-year-old Allison Lozano, who lived in Spring. Although her identity has been announced, the context and details of her death remain unclear.

On Sunday, May 7, around 8:30 p.m., a couple walking their dog found Lozano's decomposing body in the 22800 block of Imperial Valley near Cypress Slough Drive.

Once the couple discovered Lozano's body, they flagged down a nearby deputy, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office. At the time of her discovery, authorities could not identify Lozano because of the advanced state of decomposition. The suitcase in which Lozano was found was discovered in a grassy, barren spot of land and sat about a block away from a commercial area.

(Cause of death not released yet. But according to Sheriffs Dept, they suspect foul play. Really? Found in a suitcase and they "suspect" foul play?)
