Tis The Season
As we get closer to the holidays, let us remember the families that have that empty spot at the table, the gift that will still sit under the tree. Thousands of the missing will not be there, and families will still be there, not knowing.
When I look through the pictures of the missing, I look into their eyes and wonder what they're dreams were at the time the picture was taken and then what led them to disappear. It's just hard to fathom that because I have never went through what these families are going though. Reporters and TV shows say the same thing Blah Blah Blah, not even realizing what that person is going through.
We must also remember the cops, the dedicated cops who still have integrity who also search for the missing. Many have become calloused and look at the cases as just another case. But the majority of them are dedicated and give it their all.
So, when you sit at the dinner table during the holidays please remember those families that just dont know.
I wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and a very Merry CHRISTMAS. Here's hoping the new year ahead will find closure for those who desperately need it. I will do what I can to help.
