nvestigation Into Female Found Deceased At 1138 West Sam Houston Parkway North

May 9, 2016 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a female found at 1138 West Sam Houston Parkway North about 8:55 a.m. last Thursday (May 5).

The female's identity and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Hassig and Officer T. Ferguson reported:

The body of an unidentified black female was found in a refuse transfer station at the above address.  The female was wearing a brown animal print top, a brown suede skirt and black shoes.

Investigation Into Female Found Deceased At 2900 South Wayside

May 27, 2016 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a female found at 2900 South Wayside about 8:30 a.m. on Thursday (May 26). 

The identity of the female is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Turner and Officers T. Tyler and M. Coleman reported:  

City of Houston employees were working in the area and found the body of a female several yards from the bank of Brays Bayou.  Due to the body being in an advanced state of decomposition, her identity and age were not readily available.  Clothing believed to belong to the female was found a short distance away, along with a pair of green and black corded headphones. 

 She has a tattoo, possibly lettering, on her left forearm.  

At this time, the investigation is pending the female's cause of death.

Investigation Into Female's Death At 1400 West Bellfort

July 14, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the death of a female found at 1400 West Bellfort about 12:35 p.m. on Wednesday (July 13).

The victim suffered severe head trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.  Her identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Rhoads and Officer C. Sharp reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a deceased female underneath the overpass at the above address.  Upon arrival, they discovered the victim.

Investigation Into Female Found Deceased At 13900 Blueridge Road

April 15, 2016 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a female found at 13900 Blueridge Road about 8:20 p.m. on Thursday (April 14).  

The female's identity and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  
HPD Homicide Division Officers C. Sharp and M. Arrington reported:  

HPD patrol officers along with HFD emergency personnel responded to a report of a body found in a retention pond at the above address.  

At this time, there are no known witnesses.  

The investigation is pending the female's cause of death.

nvestigation Into Woman Found Deceased At 11800 Riceville School Road

March 16, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the apparent fatal stabbing of a woman found at 11800 Riceville School Road about 8:15 a.m. today (March 16).

The identity of the victim, believed to be 25 to 30 years old, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Turner and Officer J. Nguyen reported:

Residents flagged down HPD patrol officers after discovering a woman's nude body in a drainage ditch at the above address.  The female appeared to have sustained a stab wound and was deceased at the scene.

Investigation Into Remains Found At 8500 Attwater

February 22, 2016 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results on human remains found at 8500 Attwater about 11:55 a.m. last Friday (February 19).  

The identity and gender of the remains are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers M. Coleman and T. Tyler reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to the above address after surveyors working nearby found human remains in a wooded area.  A subsequent search found a body believed to have been dumped at the location.  

At this time, there are no known suspects.
